What are your office hours?
Our office hours are Monday thru Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
We are closed for Lunch from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Do I have to sign up in person?
YES. You must sign up in person prior to starting the community service. Please bring a valid photo ID. There are NO phone interviews at Project 22.
Is there is an administrative processing fee?
YES. The fee is based on the number of community service hours assigned and MUST be paid prior to starting the community service. We take cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, ATM cards (with VISA or MasterCard logo) and money orders.
Where will I be doing my community service?
Your community service placement will be discussed at the time of your interview. You will be placed at a non-profit agency. Please note that you MAY NOT do community service on your own; Your placement MUST BE APPROVED by Project 22. You will receive an official Project 22 timesheet to log your hours; in order to obtain a timesheet, you must pay the processing fee.
When do I have to turn in my timesheet?
Timesheets and payments must be completed and returned to our office one week before the PR Date, or a $10 late fee will be charged.
Do I have to return to court after I have completed my community service?
You do not have to return to court if you have completed the community service and paid your program fee in full one week prior to the PR Date. A report will be submitted to the court on your behalf.
- If you are a CLASP case this may vary.
- If you have a criminal case you will have to appear back in court, if so ordered by the judge.
How do I request an extension?
Traffic cases may be eligible for extensions. Information varies depending on your case. Please contact our office for specific instructions.
- Criminal cases must return to court on the PR Date.
- CLASP cases must contact the county that referred your case to Project 22.
- For all cases, if an extension is granted, a $10 extension fee will apply for every extension granted and must be paid to Project 22.
What information do I need when phoning your office for questions?
Please be prepared to give your docket number.
