Neighborhood Courts (NCT)

Gives residents a chance to resolve nonviolent crimes in their neighborhood. Residents serve as volunteer adjudicators and hear cases in a neighborhood setting, using restorative justice to repair the harm caused by the crimes.

Neighborhood Court is a partnership between the District Attorney’s Office, California Community Dispute Services, and Pretrial Diversion.

If you have been cited for a misdemeanor or infraction and referred to Neighborhood Court, make sure you get scheduled for your court hearing as soon as possible.
